Under the Utah Association of Gifted Children, a local affiliate networks with other parents facing similar challenges, finds resources and advocates for programs and services. 

The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) publication "Starting and Sustaining a Parent Group to Support Gifted Children" has valuable information for understanding and starting parent groups.  If you are interested in starting a local affiliate, read the UAGC Affiliate Handbook, complete the application and send it to president@uagc.org.
