Creativity in the Classroom

Understanding creativity, concerns, strategies, and resources.
Knowing why creativity is important and how to get successful outcomes
Encouraging children and teens to tap into their creativity and make it an integral part of their learning

Motivating Gifted/High-Ability Learners

Learning what underlies motivation, with attention to such matters as effort, learning preferences, underachievement, procrastination, goal-setting, productivity, and more...
Understanding how to ignite students’ engagement with practical strategies and coping mechanisms for immediate application
Encouraging and reinforcing motivation for optimal learning

Both sessions will have interactive components. Attendees will be asked to participate by sharing ideas, asking questions, and responding to prompts. A list of suggested resources will be sent to participants.
