The Utah Association for Gifted Children is proud to announce: 

Parenting for High Potential

The UAGC Annual Conference will host a Parent Day on Saturday
February 2, 2008 for a special conference rate. 

This innovation will provide parents the opportunity to have
access to national and local experts in the field of gifted
education for an entire day. 

Parent Day will feature Dr. Sandra Kaplan, past-president of the
National Association for Gifted Children and a distinguished
leader in the field of gifted education. Dr. Kaplan is Clinical
Professor in Learning and
Instruction at the University of Southern California's Rossier
School of
Education. She has been nationally recognized for her
contributions to
gifted education. The parent day will also feature many other
exciting workshops all geared towards parents of gifted students.


We are offering a special discounted rate for parents to attend
for just $30.00. It will be held at the Sheraton City Centre, 150
West 500 South, Salt Lake City from 9:00-4:00 PM. For more
