Greetings Educators Guild Members!

The end of the school year is right around the corner!  Have you
made your summer plans yet?  If not, you may be interested in
attending a professional development course to learn new
techniques and begin planning for next year.  Below are
professional development opportunities focused on gifted
education. 

 

Professional Summer Institute June 23rd - 25th (Virginia)

The purpose of this Institute

and administrators with the knowledge and skills to design and
utilize high quality curriculum and effective programs for
advanced learners.

Confratute July 7th- 18th (Connecticut)

summer experience for educators and advocates interested in
enrichment teaching and learning, talent development, and gifted
education. Confratute combines the best aspects of a Conference,
a Fraternity, and an Institute and features presentations by the
nation's best-known leaders in gifted education, talent
development, curriculum differentiation, and creativity.

The 22nd International Conference on the Autonomous Learner Model
for the Gifted June 17th - June 22nd (Colorado)

To accommodate additional SAT and ACT testing dates, the deadline
for 2008-2009 Davidson Academy of

Nevada, Reno campus, the Academy is the first public school of

2008 THINK Summer Institute Applications Available 

Application Deadline Extended to June 6, 2008

 

A 3-week residential camp located in Reno, Nevada and takes place
on the University of Nevada campus.  It is open to any interested
13-16 year old in the country who meets the minimum requirements.
Participants have the opportunity to earn transferable college
credits during the 3 weeks. For more information on the THINK
