The Granite, Murray and Jordan Associations for Gifted Children
invite you to our 

Spring Parent Night & Membership Meeting

 

Doreen Woolley, M.A.

presents

Important A's for Parents:  

    Asynchrony, Achievement, Adaptation, and Advocacy

Learn about each of the A's, with emphasis on the social and
emotional needs of gifted children.  Discuss the role of parents
in working with schools to meet the needs of their child, within
the system and without animosity.  Practical help for parents to
better understand the needs of their children will be offered.

Doreen Woolley holds an M.A. in counseling psychology from Ball
State University and has done doctoral work in Special Education
at UNLV, with an emphasis on gifted and talented.  She is a SENG
trainer of facilitators, and has facilitated many parent groups
for SENG.  She has been a presenter at many Gifted Parent group
events as well as a presenter at the BYU Education Week on gifted
issues.  She is an Educational Consultant and currently lives in
Cedar City, Utah.
