A Nation Deceived, Three Years Later: Impact on Attitudes,
Practices, and Policies about Acceleration
The Belin-Blank Center for Gifted Education at the University of
Iowa recently invited you to participate in a research study that
involves completion of a brief (less than 10 minutes) online
survey on the impact of the report A Nation Deceived. The purpose
of the study is to evaluate how the release of A Nation Deceived
three years ago has influenced attitudes, practices, and policies
about academic acceleration.
If you have already completed this survey, we thank you for your
time and your consideration.
If you have not yet completed this survey, we ask that you take a
few minutes to do so now. We value your opinions and evaluation
of the impact of A Nation Deceived.

Surveys submitted before October 31, 2007, will be included in a
presentation to the National Association of Gifted Children
annual conference in November. Surveys submitted after October
31 will be used for presentations at other national and
international conferences.
