Dr. Carolyn Callahan will speak on parenting gifted students.
Following the session parents will have the opportunity to meet
and network with other parents at a reception.
Creativity Night
Friday, January 19th
Participants will enjoy hands-on book binding projects that will
inspire as they engage in this hands-on session, "You Can Tell a
Book by Its Cover: Creative Bookbinding Ideas for Students and
Their Teachers."
Parent Day
Saturday, January 20th
Parents will have the opportunity to hear conference consultant
Joyce Van Tassel-Baska, learn parenting strategies, exchange
information and attend breakout sessions.
Instructional Leadership Day
Thursday, January 18
Administrator Day: Administrators will have the opportunity to
hear nationally recognized expert Dr. Carolyn Callahan speak on
evaluating the effectiveness
of programs and instruction.
Teacher Academy: Teachers will be engaged in one of two dynamic
presentations. Dr. Joyce VanTassel- Baska will speak on
curriculum instruction for advanced learners. Dr. Scott Hunsaker
will discuss successful strategies for differentiation.
